Back Revolution Testimonials:

July 23, 2009
(To Bill Kaiser, Kaiser Physical Fitness, Inc..)

This letter is to thank you for your Pro Back Revolution (PBR) System and outstanding customer service. However, before I get to the particulars, let me give a brief recap of how I was introduced to your company.

I experienced two major neck/spine injuries in 1990 and 2004. The 2004 injury turned my world upside-down with Level 7-10 chronic pain 24 hours a day. This condition led to extreme weakness, "living" in my bed most of the day, depression, and putting on 60 pounds. During this 5 year nightmare, I tried virtually every conventional approach to solving this pain problem including (but not limited to) chiropractors, acupuncture, pain specialists, X-rays, MRIs, EMG, IV drips, creams, patches, pain reduction diets, supplements, tens unit, laser light, magnets, bio-feedback, etc. You name the modality and I tried it or at least researched it. From 2007 through early 2009, I had four spine surgeries. Sadly, these also failed to reduce my pain.

But there was a silver lining to the last spine surgery. The surgery center employs their own Physical Therapist, Dr. James Kellogg. He introduced me to the "Back Revolution" machine. Since nothing else was working, Dr. Kellogg wrote me a PT prescription for the PBR System and encouraged me to call you. That proved to be one of the best calls of my life.

Bill, you listened to my story and patiently answered all my questions. I really appreciate that you never tried to "sell" me your machine. Rather, you simply shared all the research behind its design and the many positive results others have experienced.

I ordered your PBR System in late March. It was easy to assemble. I began using it twice a day. Within a couple months, I started to notice a small difference in my overall well-being. Something was happening inside my damaged spine and to my neck muscles. Range of motion improved. My sleep increased from 2 or 3 hours a night to 5 or 6 hours. I lost weight. My energy increased. The only thing that did not change was the pain. But your machine clearly did something to help me manage my pain better even though I still needed to remain on pain medication. The improvement had to be your machine because it was the only new modality that I was trying.

Since updating you with these results, you kindly offered more ideas and suggestions. One reminder was to make sure that I incorporate the Back Revolution Stick included with your machine. You were right. The Back Revolution Stick "warmed-up" my muscles for the machine and I felt even better after each inversion.

So, Bill, from the bottom of my 54-year-old heart, I thank you for inventing such a powerful physical therapy system and providing one of the best customer service experiences I have ever enjoyed. Although we have never met in person, I feel like you are a trusted friend that I’ve known for years. Clearly, you are a person of integrity and dedication to excellence…the proof being in your work of excellence the Pro Back Revolution System.

All the best,
Steven Clarke

(Letter to Bill Kaiser, President, Kaiser Physical Fitness, developer of the Back Revolution)
As you are well aware, local decathlete Paul Terek won the USA Indoor National Heptathlon Championships last weekend in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. This is Paul’s third win at this prestigious meet. He is the first athlete in US history to win this championship three times.
I write because his ability to compete at his highest level is due in part to you and your Back Revolution. Last year, before Paul began a consistent program with the Back Revolution, he had a number of injuries that limited his potential. We began training for this season last October. Paul has consistently used your machine after each practice as a way to insure he was fully recovered from that day’s work and therefore prepared for his next day’s practice.
There is no other athletic discipline in the world that requires more of you physically than does the decathlon. The fact that Paul Terek is healthy at this juncture of his training speaks very well for the Back Revolution. It should be part of every athlete’s arsenal as they prepare to be the best they can be.
Thanks so much for your help and now it’s on to the World Championships in Osaka, Japan.
Sincere Regards,
  Coach Harry Marra

5/8/07  Desanzano, Italy:  Paul Terek won the 20th annual Multistars IAFF Combined Events Challenge.  He scored 8,134 points to win the 10-event competition by more than 300 points over the 2nd place finisher.  Terek's score was his highest total since the 2004 US Olympic Trials in Sacramento.
9/2/07 Osaka, Japan, World Track and Field Championships.  Paul took 10th place in the decathalon, 8,120.

November 3, 2006

Just wanted to drop you a note regarding my Back Revolution which I purchased in August of 2005. I absolutely love it!!! It has been an absolute godsend to me as I have 3 disc herniations (2 are classified as severe) and make my living doing physical activity (I’m a Chiropractor).
My disc herniation at T12 stems from a motorcycle wreck in 1986. It is centrally located and so large that it cuts my spinal canal diameter in half, a condition known as Canal Stenosis. My herniation at L4 stems from years and years (and years) of squats, as I have been involved in bodybuilding for the past 28 years. It is located to the right side and is so large that it extends not only into the L4/L5 IVF (intervertebral foramen), but down into the L5/S1 IVF as well! I had several months of "foot drop" following this one in 2001.
When I decided to open a new office in 2005 and return to solo practice, my biggest concern was what I would do if my back locked up during a busy day of patient care. Thank God for the Back Revolution! I use it daily, just to get the kinks out. And, while I till receive chiropractic care, I can go for longer time between visits (2-4 weeks!) and I never have to worry about being unable to take care of my patients. If I feel like my back is starting to tighten up, 2-3 minutes on the Back Revolution and I’m back in action. Thanks again!

Sincerely,  Jon M Ketcham, D.C.
Ketcham Chiropractic, Meadville, PA
P.S. My patients love it too.
      P.P.S. I’m still squatting!

(To Bill Kaiser, President, Kaiser Physical Fitness, developer of the Back Revolution)

Bill:  The BACK REVOLUTION you provided Olympian Paul Terek has done wonders for his training.  Using it daily after a hard practice has enabled him to "decompress" his spinal column and afford him the opportunity of a pain free training session the next day.  Training as hard as Paul does for the decathlon can lead to a variety of aches and pains.  The BACK REVOLUTION helps his body recover from these daily traumas.
I hope to see you at one of our practices soon and THANKS for the help.

Best Regards,  Coach Harry Marra

(To Bill Kaiser, in answer to his question, "What is core training?")

Bill:  I'm not sure what the 'experts' mean by 'core training'.  My understanding comes from yoga, Pilates and Ida Rolf.
Basically the intrinsic (core) musculature closest to the spine and the long bones of the arms and legs are emphasized in certain exercises.  The extrinsic (sleeve), more surface muscles are usually over worked in typical weight training and cardio-vascular machines.
The goal of my Renaissance Fitness Training Programs is integration of the core (intrinsic) and sleeve (extrinsic) muscular systems.
The Back Revolution is the perfect integrator of intrinsic and extrinsic musculature because inversion naturally activates the intrinsics while giving the extrinsics an opportunity to relinquish their over contracted, over controlled, over activated state.
Their 'core-training' is an imperfect approximation of the ideal.  All the more reason for them to include the Back Revolution in a comprehensive training program.

(A letter to Bill Kaiser from Richard Campion, Canadian Weightlifting Federation Technical Director 1979-1986, Member of the International Weightlifting Federation Scientific and Research Committee 1984-1988.

"My wife, Charlotte, and I have been wintering in Florida for about 20 years, the last five in Ormond Beach, home of my friend and colleague, Harvey Newton. Working out with Harvey in his home gym has always been one of the highlights of our vacation. This is where I first saw and used the Back Revolution.
In April 2006 I had a total hip replacement of my right hip, which had deteriorated due to osteoarthritis. As a result, my right leg was now 19mm longer than my left leg, causing some lower back discomfort. At home, I train in the well-equipped physical fitness center at one of Ottawa’s local universities. Using my knowledge of weight training, I started doing special lower back exercises, with some alleviation of the discomfort and pain. But the center is equipped only with a traditional back extension machine, one where the legs are fully extended. Then I remembered the Back Revolution at Harvey’s, in Ormond Beach.
Upon our arrival in Florida for our annual winter vacation at the beginning of January this year, I contacted Harvey and we arranged times to work out together. It was a pleasure to get back on the Back Revolution and do proper lower-back exercises. Harvey even has the new Pro Back Revolution model. This is a comfortable, well-designed device that permits serious inversion and lower-back training. My discomfort vanished in a few short days. I especially like the ease of entry and exit. Upon my return to Ottawa, I am going to recommend that the university fitness center purchase one."

3 Letters from Bob Taggart, President, T2 FITNESS, INC., P.O.Box 327, Brooks GA 30269

May 18, 2002 to Bill Kaiser: Eight years. That is how long I have been using your Back Revolution. I was introduced to the Back Revolution in my early 40’s. At that time, I had pretty much figured that my "weight lifting" days were over. It was just too hard to put together a string of days where my back felt up to the task. Sometimes stiff, sometimes sore, a hurting low back is no fun. I know what it is like to support your body weight on one arm while you brush your teeth or shave. Just to take the load off the lower back.
That was until the Back Revolution! I put mine in the bedroom, where it was convenient to use. I used it in the morning, for a few minutes, and I jumped on it before bed. What a difference in the health of my back! Besides inversion, I added hamstring stretching and abdominal work to my Back Revolution routine to round out my personal program. What are the results?
Within days, I saw relief from my chronic low back pain. I used to bring a heating pad to work and use it while I sat for some relief. I haven’t used it since 1994. Not only do I feel strong and loose in my low back, I have continued to perform bent over rows, squats and deadlifts at the ripe old age of 49. I still enjoy those movements to keep up the muscle mass, and the Back Revolution allows me to do it! I am active in mixed martial arts competitions, and I find the Back Revolution a major reason I am still competing.
I have stopped being amazed at the testimonies and positive health experiences that others have received from regular Back Revolution use. I know too many people who have gotten the same relief I have. I joke, that if my house was on fire, first I get the kids out, then the Back Revolution, then if I have time, go back for the wife. Just kidding! I’ve been married 24 years to an angel!!!

Dear Bill: Your Back Revolution has helped countless numbers of folks with their physical well being. I wanted to share a pretty neat story about what the Back Revolution helped do for a young Army Ranger. The story starts with a parachute jump.
Upon exiting the aircraft in a combat training jump, the Ranger was impacted on the side of his knee by the next jumper out the door. This means that the other jumper had his legs straight and feet together and was moving at a great deal of speed as he hit the young Ranger. The result was a partial severing of the lower leg from the upper leg at the knee. The leg was loosely held together by some destroyed tendons and ligaments.
The next pain he encountered was hitting the drop zone. He was rushed, conscious with a huge wad of chewing tobacco (his immediate choice of pain killer) in his mouth, to the hospital. He went in for immediate surgery. His future in the Rangers, let alone the Army was in grave jeopardy. After surgery, where they used cadaver ligaments and tendons to put his leg back together, he was assigned to the Ranger Gym and Rehab Center to begin rehab and evaluate how he might walk again. With a twisted posture, back problems soon began. This is where he first encountered the Back Revolution.
He used the Back Revolution combined with the pool, strength training, and everything else to strengthen his body and limbs. He was able to use the Back Revolution for stretching and decompression as well as stimulate the circulation of blood in his body.
Fast forward 18 months: the young Ranger, through sheer determination and will, (common characteristics of our young men of the special forces) worked very hard doing whatever he could to stay in the Rangers. He eventually returned to his ranger duties as a squad leader. Run, jump, everything. But the story is not over.
Our young hero continued to progress and went up for qualification to become a member of our country’s most elite unit, the Delta Force. He was selected. He has been on the "dark side" for a few years now, and is somewhere out there now. On the front lines in our fight on terrrorism.
Not to sound so dramatic, but his is quite a story. Albeit a personal story. One that few will ever know about. But I thought you should know.

October 1, 2006, Bob Taggart
Dear Bill: RE: Back Revolution in use by ARMY RANGERS
I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know about the Back Revolution being used by the Army Rangers at Ft.Benning, GA. The Rangers have their own battalion strength and performance center that serves the soldiers.
Ranger training produces a high level of stress and load to the back. Forced marches, parachute jumping, and the rigors of being combat ready can really challenge the low back. The Back Revolution was installed in their training center in 2005 to assist in keeping the low back, hamstrings and hip flexors loose, flexible and strong.
One interesting note attesting to the Back Revolution effectiveness is that I have received calls in the past from soldiers who have left the service who remember the Back Revolution and how it helped them. They call and ask how to buy one for their personal use.
Thank you for your diligence over the years in producing the Back Revolution and educating people about its benefits. You have no doubt assisted in keeping our guys fit to fight!

Letter from Carla Wolowski, Sheboygan WI, April 15, 2008-

Dear Mr. Kaiser: I am writing about my recent purchase of your Back Revolution System. In early September, 2007, I awoke with terrible pain in my lower back. I could barely walk. After a trip to a chiropractor where several x-rays were taken of my spine, it was discovered that I was suffering from grade II spondylolisthesis at the S1/L5 joint in my spine. Over the course of the next several months, I visited my chiropractor three times a week, had two epidural injections and finally met with two spinal surgeons. As recommended by my doctors, I spent an hour each morning and each evening on the floor trying to exercise and strengthen my back and core muscles. Despite a lifelong aversion to medications, I was also taking a prescription non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) each day and a prescription pain medication almost every night. Though the exercises were extremely painful and difficult, I had to try. After all, I was told that if the exercise and medication did not improve my condition, the next step was surgery. I did a lot of research about the surgery that I would be having. It was going to involve a lot of pain and a long recovery. The more I learned, the more I decided that I wanted to avoid the surgery at all cost. Unfortunately, however, my condition continued to worsen. Despite my efforts, it was becoming increasingly difficult to exercise, and my pain was prohibiting me from functioning. I finally decided that surgery was inevitable. I began making arrangements with my employer for my extended leave. I also made a trip to visit my family to determine who would be available to assist me during my recovery. My father had not seen me for several months and was deeply saddened by my inability to function and my obvious pain. Over the week following my visit my father had spent a lot of time researching my condition and trying to find anything that might help me. He called me and asked if I had tried inversion. I said that I had not, but that I would look into it. After much research and reading, I decided to purchase the Back Revolution System. It seemed more sensible to me than inversion tables that supported the entire body’s weight from the ankles. I ordered the unit on Friday and received it the following Wednesday. A friend came over and assembled the unit for me, as I was unable to do it myself. When the unit was ready to go I inverted for a short time and then stood upright. I was AMAZED! For the first time in 7 months I was completely without pain, and continued to be pain free for nearly 2 hours. I phoned my father to share the news and could immediately hear the relief in his voice. I inverted the next morning and again after work. After one day with my Back Revolution, I did something I had not been able to do for more than half a year; I walked 5 miles. I have also been able to do my core strengthening exercises completely without pain while inverted. It has been only 13 short days since I received my Back Revolution System and I have only taken my NSAID twice and one dose of pain medication. I don’t know how I survived the past 7 months without it. My pain has been drastically reduced and my function has been significantly restored. My friends and co-workers are amazed at the improvement in my mobility, posture and overall disposition. Best of all, I am no longer considering surgery. Your Back Revolution has changed my life. From the bottom of my heart I thank you.

To Bill Kaiser from Marvin Ball 2/5/2010

Dear Mr Kaiser: Thank you for your great work!
I began this letter intending to tell you only how well The Back Revolution works as part of my aggressive workouts—as an effective tool for warming up/stretching, and equally effective in warming down. The Back Revolution is unique…and irreplaceable.
Then I realized that The Back Revolution is just that—revolutionary—in a second use: recovering from back pain from the common strains, injuries, and exhaustion of active sports. I first used inversion therapy to treat basketball strains—at a time when knee and ankle tenderness did not allow me to hang from my ankles. Proper use of The Back Revolution reduces this kind of back pain…and is ideal for adding the strength and flexibility that prevents future strains.
But as I thought of the greatest benefit The Back Revolution has been for me, I realized that for years I have used The Back Revolution primarily as a computer accessory!
For the last 25 years, my professional work has been helping companies make major changes in business performance. My work is mostly with high-technology products…in very competitive marketplaces…with highly skilled, tightly focused people. Working conditions typically include (1)high levels of stress and (2)low levels of physical activity. We do a lot of sitting at computers while working feverishly toward impending deadlines!
In this work environment, I have proven that The Back Revolution is the fastest way for me to unload after intense hours sitting at a computer. In a few seconds – literally, less than two minutes – I am able to relax completely and get circulation going again! Then, I can get back to work, with a fresh supply of energy.
You do not show people using The Back Revolution in their professional attire…but perhaps you should! The Back Revolution is one of the best computer accessories I have! Over the last few years, I have recommended The Back Revolution to dozens of people. Most were not athletes. But everyone who bought this great equipment reported the same benefits.
Thank you!

Feb.4, 2011   To Mr. Bill Kaiser, Kaiser Physical Fitness Inc:

I need to give you a little history so you can appreciate what your Back Revolution has done for me.
I am a Vietnam veteran. In August 1968 while driving an armored personnel carrier, I was hit by a rocket propelled grenade. Among my many wounds I lost my left arm at the shoulder. The reason I mention this is according to several physical therapists, the weight imbalance has caused me to have lower back pain for years. Earlier on I had bouts of sciatica which I went to a chiropractor for temporary relief. I purchased a Back Revolution in 1999. This gave me complete relief for long periods. I would use your machine whenever I had a flare-up.
In 2002 I really hurt my back lifting something while tilling the garden. I could not stand, sit or lay down without very severe pain. I finally went to a neurosurgeon who diagnosed my problem. I had two bulging and one ruptured disks. Dr Maroon wanted me to try physical therapy. He said if that did not work I should try trigger-point injections before we even consider surgery. I went to physical therapy which only made it worse. I was using the Back Revolution 3-4 times a day which gave me some relief. I kept this up and after two weeks I had made major progress with pain reduction. By continued use of the Back Revolution the problem was resolved.
Over the years I would have flair ups and would use the Back Revolution to put the "fires" out. Last summer I had a major problem again. It was so bad that I was walking with a cane in addition to steroids and pain pills. I could not stand for more that 5-10 minutes without intense pain. I had trigger point injections which helped for about six months before the pain returned. I started to use the Back Revolution again but this time I decided to use it twice a day every day. This turned out to be the best decision I have made to date (besides purchasing it in the first place). My back has progressively gotten better the longer I follow this daily routine. The pain in my lower back and numbness in my feet is gone. My back has not felt this well in twenty years at least. I cannot believe it took me so long to use the machine on a daily basis.
I recently had a friend who is having back pain so I went to your site to paste your web address to an email. I started to read your e-book which I downloaded and low and behold I found your recommendation to use the machine at least once a day (I was so desperate that I purchased a floor model which did not have instructions). I now know that regular use would have spared me very much pain over the years.
I thank you with all my heart; your machine has made my quality of life so much better.
Warmest regards,
Harry Van Riper

From Harry Marra, Multi Event Coach, Oregon Track Club Elite, Eugene OR July 2011

Dear Bill: I have been meaning to write to you for some time now. The PRO BACK REVOLUTION SYSTEM we got from you has been extremely well received by the athletes on our Team. We have been using it as an assist to "decompress" after a hard day of training. I firmly believe that your PRO BACK REVOLUTION SYSTEM plays a big part in helping keep our athletes healthy and physically fit. Each of the athletes puts in week after week of very strenuous work. Your system enables them to get to the start line healthy on competition day!
We had 5 individual athletes qualify for Team USA to compete at the World Championships in Track and Field, to be held in late August in Daegu, Korea. Two of our athletes lead the world right now with their performances. I will be certain to keep you posted as to their outcomes in Daegu.
Thank you for your continued support, and for your great invention!!

From Mary Gaither, Program Development Mngr&Registrar, WOUNDED WARRIORS ALLIANCE December 1, 2011
Bill: Thank you for the wonderful Back Revolution Systems you have donated to Eagles Summit Ranch. These machines are being used by our participants during our Wounded Warriors Alliance programs, conducted at the ranches (both Texas and Colorado). Wounded Warriors Alliance is part of Roever Educational Assistance Programs.
Many of our participants suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression, anger and physical injuries. Their problems are amplified by traumatic brain injuries (TBI). Most of these soldiers have tried to commit suicide. They have experienced an event that has brought them to the threshold of death and then must deal with both the emotional and physical trauma that develops from these events. The Back Revolution Systems promote their physical healing. In addition, the workout sessions provide an opportunity to fellowship and build confidence, which greatly promotes emotional healing.
Thank you for your support of Eagles Summit Ranch, where our goal is to help Wounded Warriors find there way home. With your help, I know that we will meet that goal. The time I spent talking to you on the phone today has been a blessing and I am greatly encouraged by your gift and the confidence you have placed in us.
I have included a few pictures in this letter. I hope you find them encouraging as you reach out and touch these wonderful wounded warriors.
Again, thank you. If you need any further information, please feel free to contact me at any time.
